Update 02/2026 — SSO Enhancements, Operational Excellence, and Privacy Foundations

February at Redacted Hosting was dedicated to fortifying the essential components that support the success of all user types: students, volunteers, and hosting customers. Our primary achievements included updating users on our new SSO pipeline, enhancing the reliability of the SSO portal, and optimizing onboarding processes and business operations across our ecosystem. By maintaining high uptime, minimizing incidents, and tightening platform security, we are well-positioned to pursue ambitious goals in March, including edge AI use cases and continued improvements in reliability.

This month, we focused on enhancing the SSO experience and onboarding pipelines while strengthening operational processes for all user types. These efforts set the stage for introducing new privacy-focused content and achieving higher platform reliability.

  • SSO Portal Improvements: Completed break-fix updates to the SSO portal and enhanced the user onboarding pipeline.

Small issues in these areas can create significant friction during onboarding, underscoring the importance of tightening validation and testing for identity flows as we scale.

Current Initiatives

We are actively developing a framework for a new product package focused on privacy, leveraging open-source software and freeware. The aim is to provide users with practical tools and repeatable guidance that can be immediately adopted.

Looking Ahead to March (03/2026)

Next month, we will concentrate on three strategic priorities that support both platform growth and community outcomes:

Project: PrivSec (Beginner’s Guide to Privacy and Security in the Age of AI)

Why it matters: As AI becomes increasingly integrated into everyday tools, privacy and security can feel out of reach. This guide will offer a thoughtful approach and a beginner-friendly toolbox of freeware to help protect digital identities.
What’s changing: A new Redacted Hosting paper and resource set.
Target outcome: Visitors will leave more equipped to secure and protect their data.

Project: Maintenance and Break-Fix

Why it matters: As we integrate more services into SSO, it is crucial to keep pace with updates, bug fixes, and operational improvements to maintain trust and reliability.
What’s changing: Continued updates and fixes as new applications are integrated.
Target outcome: Secure, stable, and dependable services for customers and community users.

Project: Expand Self-Paced Training Content

Why it matters: More self-paced content improves accessibility, expands knowledge across the community, and supports upskilling for both entry-level learners and members.
What’s changing: Additional courses will be added to the LMS for both free/guest and member tiers.
Target outcome: Increased LMS usage and stronger learning outcomes.

Project: AI Server for LLM/Generation (Gen.AI)

Why it matters: Giving our community AI capabilities is a mission enabler and force multiplier in aspects of cyber capability as a cadre of select individuals.
What’s changing: Additional application in the app portal that will allow users to explore LLMs AI generation photos/videos, and AI Agents.
Target outcome: Increased AI usage and stronger redacted hosting outcomes.

Closing

February was characterized by consistency, reliability, and a focus on reducing friction. We enhanced our SSO and onboarding pipelines, maintained full operational status with zero incidents, and laid the groundwork for privacy-focused education and broader training expansion. As we transition into March, expect continued growth in SSO capabilities, ongoing maintenance efforts, and our first major push toward privacy and security education in the age of AI.
