Update 11/2025 - Preparing for the AI wave.
Strategic Infrastructure Expansion and AI Readiness
November marked a pivotal month for Redacted Hosting as we continued to operationalize our automation stack and prepare for advanced AI infrastructure in 2026. In alignment with our long-term vision of enabling secure, local, and scalable compute environments, we made notable progress across both software orchestration and physical infrastructure domains.
Fleet Runner Expansion to Web Applications
Our internal Fleet Runner system—designed to standardize and automate distributed system management—has been successfully extended to onboard web applications, including WordPress instances. This update enables centralized patching, diagnostics, and status reporting across our full software estate, further reducing manual intervention and improving SLA adherence across environments.
This advancement mirrors capabilities similar to AWS Systems Manager, but is deployed on-premises within our hardened zero-trust framework. Each enrolled endpoint benefits from script-driven update control, RSA-authenticated SSH sessions, and granular logging for auditing purposes.
Storage Infrastructure Advancement
A new hardware node was installed this month to serve as the foundation for our horizontally scalable NFS environment. This network-attached storage (NAS) system is purpose-built to support upcoming workloads related to locally hosted AI agents.
The node has been successfully provisioned, and vertical scaling was applied to an existing host to ensure balanced throughput across services. These enhancements have already improved file availability and distributed caching performance for customer workloads. The infrastructure is also hardened under our existing zero-trust model, and secured with encrypted traffic across backend links.
Strategic Vision for 2026: Censorship-Free AI Agents
While GPU procurement and node-level inference orchestration are scheduled for Q1 2026, the groundwork laid in November affirms our commitment to building resilient, privacy-respecting AI systems. These local AI agents will be designed to assist in content generation, real-time monitoring, and autonomous decision support—all without reliance on third-party cloud platforms.
Our architectural posture aims to support:
- Self-hosted inference pipelines
- Edge deployment of AI workloads for enhanced privacy
- Integration with Fleet Runner for secure, policy-driven agent updates
This direction not only elevates service capability for our cadre of users but reinforces Redacted Hosting’s dedication to sovereign compute and transparent systems architecture.
Looking Ahead
- December 2025: Continue expanding Fleet Runner compatibility to containerized services and initiate dry-run testing of GPU orchestration scripts.
- February 2026: Full GPU acquisition and integration; AI agent stack deployment begins in lab.
- Q2 2026: Pilot training programs launch through the Redacted Hosting Training platform focused on AI, systems automation, and secure hosting fundamentals
