Update 07/2025: Progress, Maintenance, and Docendo discimus.

July has been a productive month at Redacted Hosting, with a mix of technical improvements, service refinements, and exciting developments that continue to strengthen our offerings for the community. From maintaining core services to preparing for major AI and web application initiatives, our team has been hard at work ensuring both stability and innovation.

Service Maintenance and Break-Fix Operations

This month, we conducted both basic and advanced break-fix operations along with regular maintenance across all Redacted Hosting services.
Key areas of focus included:

  • Training Platformtraining.redactedhosting.com received routine performance checks, security updates, and usability refinements to keep learning experiences smooth and secure.
  • Virtual Computer Lab (VCL) — Maintained for optimal performance, enabling students to practice offensive and defensive penetration testing while also supporting secure backend server management for web administrators.
  • Project Management Application (R&D) — Continued our search for the ideal open-source platform to provide notes, agile workflows, and collaboration features. We are actively testing several candidates and are close to making a decision for future deployment.
  • Redacted Hosting Wiki — Thriving with fresh contributions, including a new contributor specializing in the e-commerce and entertainment industry. This expertise will elevate both the training platform content and wiki knowledge base.

Docendo discimus — “By teaching, we learn.”

Deferred Projects for August 2025

Some projects have been postponed to August 2025 due to time constraints and higher-priority tasks:

  • AI Air-Gapped Agent — Deferred as we shift focus to developing a Red Team AI framework. While we remain committed to launching a locally hosted AI agent, it will first undergo thorough security research and design to ensure a safe rollout for all users.
  • Web Application Improvements — Upcoming tasks include a version upgrade and a potential redesign to improve performance, functionality, and overall user experience.

We value user feedback, so please use the feedback button below to share your thoughts on these future upgrades.

Roadmap: What’s Next

Looking beyond August, our roadmap includes:

  • Finalizing the Project Management Application decision and beginning deployment testing.
  • Launching the Red Team AI framework, with future integration into the locally hosted AI agent project.
  • Implementing the web application redesign to refresh aesthetics and improve usability.
  • Continued growth of the training platform and wiki, leveraging expert contributions to create more industry-specific and advanced content.

At Redacted Hosting, we remain committed to security, performance, and education for our user base. The work we do each month builds toward a stronger, more capable platform that not only serves your needs but also pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in secure hosting and training.

Stay tuned for next month’s updates — and thank you for growing with us.

We apologize for the delay in updating this month; however, please feel free to let us know how this article was, as well as if you have any other feedback.
